1997 – 2000: Membership in the Society for Higher Learning (focusing on procedural aspect of international law on human rights). Sept. 1997 – June 1998: Co-operation on specific project with the Foundation of Charter’77 (application of 11th Protocol to the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms as amended). April – May 1998: 1,5-month study stay at the Legislative and Legal Department of the Office of the National Council of the Slovak Republic. 12th – 20th Sept. 1998: Attendance at the “Autumn School on Human Rights” organised by the Institute of the State and Law (Slovak Academy of Sciences) with the support of the Know How Fund, Open Society Fund and the Slovak National Centre for Human Rights. 24th – 30th Sept. 1998: Participation in the project called “Summer School on Human Rights” organized by the Foundation of Citizen and Democracy, Minority Rights Group – Slovakia followed by the second part of this course “Spring School on Human Rights” held in March 1999. 15th – 30th July 1999: Study stay at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic. 9th – 15th August 1999: Study stay at the Permanent Mission of the Slovak Republic to the United Nations and other International Organisations in Geneva (Switzerland). 11th – 20th Sept. 1999: Attendance at the “Autumn School – Legal Status of Man and Citizen” organised by the Institute of the State and Law (Slovak Academy of Sciences) with the support of the Foundation of Laco Novomeský and the Friedrich Ebert Stifung Foundation.
